SMS Consent
Transactional SMS opt-in for repair-shop callers
AutoShop Voice AI sends low-volume transactional text messages on behalf of auto repair shops only after a caller contacts a participating shop and agrees to receive follow-up texts about that specific call or service interaction.
Verbal opt-in script
During an inbound phone call, the AI front desk asks for consent before sending follow-up text messages. The disclosure is:
The shop can send you text updates about this call, such as appointment confirmation, callback details, next steps, or a short satisfaction question. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not required to buy anything from the shop. Do you agree to receive these texts?
If the caller says yes and provides or confirms a mobile number, the shop may send transactional texts related to that interaction. If the caller says no, AutoShop Voice AI records the call details for the shop but does not send SMS follow-up.
What messages contain
- Call recaps and next steps requested during the call.
- Appointment requests, confirmations, and callback notifications.
- After-hours follow-up notices for callers who left a message.
- Occasional one-question customer-satisfaction surveys.
These messages are not marketing messages, promotional offers, direct lending messages, or age-gated content. Each message identifies the repair shop.
Opt-out and help
Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on the caller's interaction with the shop.
